Every now and again you need a really good sunburn. We were feeling like this time was coming in our lives, when fortunately we were invited to a family vacation down in Sandestin, Florida. The severe storms to the north really worked out nicely for us. We splashed with glee in the “water not open to the public”, whatever that means. The waves were freakin’ amazing man, as was the undertow.
We tried to eat as healthily as possible while there, so balanced our dessert at every meal with a deep sea fishing trip to live into the doctor’s recommended good fish oil fats. We ended up catching a nice assortment of fish oils that day: grouper, red snapper, and king mackerel. This is when having a chef in the family comes in handy, and we exploited it at every opportunity. Thanks Chase.
All in all it was a relaxing, great trip. Returning to Nashville not so pastey white and a little bit fatter; our dreams come true.
